Eboue is better and his performances in the champions league were better than Ferrerira performance ever, have you seen Eboue play???

I think Ferreira's performances when he won the Champions League were better. Although that Eboue dive against Barcelona was nice, sure.

Cicinho shouldn't be anywhere near that list. He's horrendous defensively and the RB position is primarily a defensive one. No top 10 RB should require help in shutting down a quality LW.

I'd certainly include PF, but I'm not sure if Eboue has done enough for long enough to warrant a place on the list. I simply don't rate Finnan that highly and I'd question whether Neville with all his injuries should be on the list for simply footballing reasons.

Obviously I have seen Eboue play, I have seen more than enough of him.

When Ferreira was at Porto he was the best RB in the world. Now he is just in the top 5.

Eboue is still no where near the top 10, in fact when Lauren comes back there is a good chance that Eboue won't even play for Arsenal.

I really doubt that, and i think lauren would be used in rotation so Eboue doesn't get burnt out.

IMO Ferreira hasn't ever been the best right back in the world and he is even certain of a place in his club and Miguel is ahead of him in the NT.

But people have their views and i respect yours

guys, there is only one GREAT right back right now. In the world cup the guy demonstrated that he is awesome at defending (something ichinho, Cafu etc, can't claim) and just as awesome at attcking. His name is Zambrotta. A monster.

i think dani alves is worthy of being on the list. he just gets knocked a bit for playing on a smaller club.

as for cicinho, he's more of a right midfielder. he had an atrocious game today for brazil.

I only know of one RB who can shut down the likes of Robben and J Cole while still assisting in attack.

MIGUEL!!!

well tell MIguel that Zambrotta scored a fantastic goal, hit a crossbar, had two amazing assists and still managed to be unbelievable on D alongside that monster of Cannavaro, Grosso, who is one of the bette rleft backs at this point, and Saint Materazzi. Imagine if Nesta was there and if Maldini hadn't retired. Italians ar eby far the best defenders on the planet.

Thats fine...and Zambrotta really is good.

But when you have excellent defenders and DMs like gattuso, it lightens the load on the defenders quite a bit.

Miguel was exceptional with two DMs that are more offensive minded.

And from what I recall, Zambrotta never really had a world class, speedy, and technical LW to cover during the WC.

Zambrotta has been doing it fr years and really did have an amazing WC alongside the entire Italy D.

He certainly had to deal with Malouda in the final who wa sthe best French player that day.

Who did Miguel have to deal with?

Well...Joe Cole and Arjen Robben were the high profile LW's...

But he also had to deal with Malouda...and he did shut down Malouda too. The loss was because of a penalty given for a bad tackle by Carvalho.

But in addition he also had clean sheets against Angola and Iran, and good game against Mexico...(Wasnt a clean sheet, but wasnt his fault either).

Robben is a handful, but that game was anything but a game. Joe Cole is totally overated imo.

Well...either way, they are tougher opponents than Malouda.

Sagnol

Yup, he's the best in the world.

I would also add Lahm, everytime he plays RB he is just as good as he is playing LB.

Nah, Zambrotta and Miguel are the best RBs with Sagnol a close third.
