The first thing I thought of when I read the Yahoo news report was "is there a BigSoccer thread on this guy?"!

The guy was in two of my favorite movies, Godfather II and Spinal Tap. Those two movies alone give him one of the better filmographies in Hollywood.

His finest moment for me (other than 'a-Lieutenant Steve') is the deleted scene from Spinal Tap where he's singing into a pizza crust 'mic' in his underpants.
He will be missed.
One of the talkbackers on AICN reckons he was Ricky Gervais' first choice to play Michael Scott in the US Office.

"Who's Mr. Zero?"
