for people that read this thread... what come's first? club or country?
what i mean by that is... say you support france AND spurs, but henry is an arsenal player and as a spurs fan, you hate arsenal, what comes first?
also, this never happens, but lets say for 'argument's sake' that your favorite club team and favorite national team were playing at the same time/same day. what would you watch live and tape to watch later?

Club first, although I do care about how England perform. But international football comes along once every 7 weeks or something, plus when it does it is usually boring compared to a Prem game every week.

I was asked this question before the World Cup, what would i prefer England to win the World Cup or Tottenham to qualify for the Champions League?
No contest, Tottenham in the Champions League of course.

national teams, and their tournaments, are a wonderful distraction. not that they don't matter - they do. but one cannot be sustained by a handfull of matches per year.
you live and die with your club every week.
club - no contest.

Club is more important, although I am very interested in England right now with all the Tottenham players involved and practically no Gooners :D

....club all the way. I like England to do well, but I care far more about how Tottenham are doing, infact I think the fact that most days we post things on here and other places about the club proves what is more important to us.

doesnt really matter.
country=usa, followed by italy
club- inter and tottenham
ill pull for italy, except for cannavaro after what happened with him and inter, but still. so i mean, i also like seeing foreign club players do well, but not at the expense of my country. so i guess country over club, but it never actually interfears as i havent gotten into the mls too much.
