No US TV.
As you probably know, the FA Cup replay is live on Fox Sports Worls at 2:45PM ET on Tuesday the 25th, pre-match starting at 2PM.
The next league match likely televised is Chelsea v. Everton on April 21st. So at least Clanblue's DirecTV bill will be low for the next month or so ;)

Petit is out for the game...calf injury.
Not the time of year to be missing players of his caliber. He hopes to be fit though for the cup replay.
Should be an interesting line up for this one.

Just back from the briefing on the war on the telly.
All Chelsea it would seem so far.
3 strikers on the field again i hear.
Commentators saying that Gudjohnsen and Hasselbaink are out of sorts...story of the season so far i suppose.
Terrible shame about the helicopter crash.

Hasselbaink in from a great cross from Zola.
Zola has picked up his game in the last 10 mins.
Schmichel has made a few good saves to this point.
No more than Chelsea deserve really.
Gallas is playing like an offensive midfielder, he seems to be involved in all the forward moves.
Chelsea really on top now.
A second goal before the half could be on the books.

Terry from a corner.
Schmichel pulled off a great save to deny Zola a delightful curler from the left of the penalty area to the right post--a trademark shot of his.

Dixon saying that we started of well but lost our way for the middle part of the half.
Untill. that is, Zola came to life.He has been playing well again and it would be fantastic if he could finish the season off in the way in which he started it.Of course we have had no mid-week games in a period of time now and he seems to have reaped the fruits ofthat break.
3-4-3 formation again from Ranieri it would seem.
Going for all the points again..good stuff.
As Bates has said, with ominous tones, qualifying for the UEFA cup is of no use to us.
On an aside.
How about that shyte from Pires about going on strike to protest the war.
Bollox should be sent over to Iraq to play next season coming out with stuff like that as the very nations that freed his people are again removing a tyrant from power.

3-0 we run away with it.
2-1 it's a game again.
City should have scored there as Jensen misses an open goal with a shot from 8 yards out.
Hasselbaink on 14 goals for the season now.
How ironic would it be if he were to finish the season with another 20 goal haul after all the troubles he has had thsi time around.
6 more to go really isn't all that far out of his reach.
How nice it would be if both he and Gudjohnsen could finish the season on a strong note in direct comparison to last seasons abysmal effort.
How much that is importent to a teams finish is evident in a look at how the players from the Arse, to a man, finished so strong last season.

Interesting that commentators both say that they think Zola will be hauled off.
Zenden is warming up.
It's Le Saux though that comes off and Zenden takes his place.
Interesting.
Speculation that he is being rested for the game on Tuesday.Dangerous move as the City are lively here and could well have pulled on back.
Zenden more atttacking minded than Le Saux though so it could be just a case of Ranieri taking of Le saux before he tires and perhaps makes a mistake coupled with an effort to win the game.
Super Mario scores yet again.
He really is in form isn't he?
Great stuff this with some players starting to find fine form at such an importent time of the season.
Crowd noise is deafening.
Carlton Cole to come on now for Zola i would expect.
The game as a contest is effectively over.

Being rested for the Tuesday game.
One sub left, but 30 mins of game to go yet.
Hope we didn't do that one a little bit early.
Really all Chelsea here and a 5-0 win could be on the cards.

De Lucas is on and Zola rested for the Tuesday replay.
Fantastic goal from Lampard as he and Cole work a 1-2 from the middle of the park and Cole advances right at Schmichel who comes out to meet him only to se Cole calmly roll it across goal to lampard to score.
Chelsea are tearing City to pieces here.

Well, there's the 5th.
That goal difference is going up which is going to be a major factor at the end of the season i think.
Stanic strong in the air with a flick on to Gallas who takes it past the keeper and a fine finish from an acute angle.

Excellent, excellent performance from the blues.
Clive walker on the radio now. There's an old player-wonder if he's done anything with that hair since his playing days ;)
Lampard and Terry being touted for England squad.
They are saying now that Pires has indeed asked not to be played tomorrow.
What absolute disrespect to our war dead.

I would rather he asked not to play Tuesday.

What a bitter little berk he was in this.I always thought better of him but he really was bitter here.
Never credited Chelsea once for superior play or even for being better on the day.
Said he didn't want to slag off his players and them did.
Said it was to hot (54 degrees  ) and didn't think the players really tried-included Chelsea players in this cathegory also, but said that since we scored first we ignored it.
Slaged off his defenders especially and said they gave Schmichel no protection. He felt like they were playing that their season was already over and this was a great disrespect to both him and his staff.
When asked what he though about his fans claping off Zola he said he wanted his fans claping off his players only and promptly turned heel and walked out of the interview.
Sour grapes.
