America has beaten Atlas the last four meetings, but Atlas is coming in sharp after smashing lowly Tecos. Club America looked confused at times vs Tigres lacking cohesion and that trademark offensive fire power. Fear not, these players are just getting to know each and other it's only a matter of a time and a few player changes. Castro will likely play while Salinas sits. Oscar Rojas will look to bounce back after a below average performance. Did I mention Mosqueda is the future? ;) Nah, that kid looked good regardless of that monster goal, that was just the icing. Cuevas and Vuoso is my preferred line-up for the attack. Vuoso is a hustler, hard worker, we need him out there. Cuevas looked a little dead in the legs vs tigres, another player that'll bouce back.
Club America played ************ this past weekend and still got a point. I feel good.

First of all, who is going to coach this game? The one who puts 4-3-3 players on a 4-4-2 formation, or the one who doesn't know how to attack down the flanks?

Play like they did agst. Tigres and Atlas will take the pts.
Romano has those guys pumped up.
The midfield lacks bite. Pena and Villa will do their jobs but the flow is not coming yet out of the middle. I'm with the Vuoso/Cuevas pairing up top. Not sure Piojo needs to be out there at the start of games....he's lost w/o the nice long balls Cuah served him. Bring him on for 20 mins. at end.
Is this it for Chileno Rojas? That body slam on Chamagol was poor. A few more of those and he's gonna be history. Cervantes and Ismael? Why not...let them work together more.

Like it or not Rojas is probably are best defender. Stupid mistake on his part though.
Cervantes is still young; he can still be of use.
But Ismael is horrid; on par with Salinas if you ask me.
We got lucky against Tigres we deserved to lose.
I still think we were still reeling from the come from behind draw Barca gave us.
Atlas played against a Tecos team that looked like it played en la segunda.
I think we take it in Jalisco.

Yea.
He's looking like another 'used to be this/that'.
No desire. Some good skills but he's gotta start bringing it hard.
Don't want to watch much more of his stuff and Vuoso on the bench. That's a waste of talent.

Rojas is best outside, but too old now. Prob. is the best central and that's a worry.
Salinas has LMvCp in his corner so I'm staying away from saying he's finished. He doesn't make any more plays than Ismael tho. I'll stick with Ismael. If they aren't going to bring in any more experience they better get some pairs together and work them in central. Rojas/Davino and Ismael/Cervantes...whatever, just get it worked out and let them work together.

Yes it was a bad game against tigres, but they didnt do much either. Both teams were crap, and a tie was deserved.
I dont like the line ups that america has put out there these last two games. Seems like they needed more warm up games to sort out a cohesive formation. I think that cuevas should be used in a more midfield type role. He was standing around up top for most of the game. He needs to come back to get the ball moving out of the midfield or else America will have no ball possesion.
Mosquera played ok this past game, maybe some more young guys should get a chance to play early in the season. Sit some of the high priced players for a while, see if it gets them to step up their games. I would hate to see Cuevas, Vuoso, and Cabanas added to the list of guys who come to America and forget how to play.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure it'll happen.
