DFL (the German league administration) ordered a query among fans and now got the interesting result.

- 58.1% demand video proof
- 48.3% prefer flood light games
- 26.8% demand to abolish the winter break
- 47.1 of 64.1 million people over 14 are interested in soccer
- 32 million are fan of a club
- 20 million attended at least one game last year
- 23.4% of the ones in the stadium play soccer themselves
- 75% of the soccer interested are also interested in Bundesliga
- 52.9% want soccer on TV (most popular sports ahead of Formula One and Boxing)
- game got more professional
- the improved security standard is praised

Maybe i don't understand the sentence, but does this mean that 47,1 % of the German population don't want any soccer on TV ?

Can't tell you, they did not publish the exact question. Maybe they asked for permanent soccer on TV or if there should be more? I think more than 52.9% are watching soccer at a WC, so this answer can't really be true.

Maybe it was that they wanted soccer on free tv instead of Premier? Just a thought.
