Yes, I'm talking about the idiots with the MLS contraction crosshairs on their heads, the fans of the San Jose Welfare Queens.

The US open cup game is on August 7th, and once again we have to travel to the liberal, gay-biased, home-of-crushed-dreams, known as northern California, to remind you of your inferiority.

But God bless you, because without our friends to the north, we wouldn't have so many rich bankruptcy attorneys in Beverly Hills. But enough about the burst internet bubble, and lets talk about footie.... (No, Nap, I said "Footie", not "Footsy". Please don't send me any PM's asking me if I'm friends with Landin', and could I send you a copy of the LA Riot Squad's "money shot" poster of L-do.)

Landon has been coming up short lately, just like his hairline, and he and the NerfQuakes are in a bit of a slump. Seems that the only place that they are consistent is in their AYSO-sized field, where it always seems like there's 30 players on the pitch, and the camera angles are terrible, like you're watching a game being played in a narrow aquaduct.

Even Osama bin Rosario hasn't done much lately, and the Quakes are relying on the Joker to get things done.

Bottom line, the PoofQakes have peaked, and are ready to take their historical place as bottom feeders, and pawns in the MLS Monopoly game.

My prediction for the open cup: Galaxy 3, Northern Cal Deadmeat 1, with goals from Ruiz, Lalas, Cobi, and 1 for the Joker.
