The man never shuts up does he ? Time and time again he plays mind games with Benitez and tries to intimadate our team with his useless babble. I think he knows how close we are to catching his team for the premiership and he's a little nervous . He might have the money but we have the spirit and determanation to win. The players that play for Liverpool play because they want to belong to a team that they have supported most of their lives and not because of money or glamour. We are alot classier than Mourinho and his bunch of over hyped and over paid players. Benitez doesn't need to sink down to his level and go bashing chelsea . The results will do the talking for us. By the way did you hear that chelsea will be only 50 % ready come sunday so if we lose to them then we will be a sad lot.... so says moron . I think he's shaking at the knees . with the prem starting next weekend shouldn't your players be fit already ? Stupid bugger

Yeah, I didn't understand that part. Why should Chelsea be any less prepared than Liverpool? We had players at the World Cup too. He already has an excuse for if they lose, and if they win he will claim that it is proof that Liverpool can't challenge Chelsea this season.
I don't think Jose actually believes half the crap that comes out of his mouth. He is just looking for attention

Chelsea started their pre-season later than everyone else and have only played 3 matches.

Not that it matters, but they spent most of pre-season criss-crossing the continental United States.
I'd still not read much into the game, though.

Most of the stuff he says is just to draw attention to himself. I'm sure he feels that keeping the media focus on him keeps the press away from his players and lets them focus on football. The stuff he says won't win him any popularity contests, but you can't really argue with the results.
I'm sure our guys realize this, and don't really listen to anything he says.
