im going to try this and hope this doesnt get closed or deleted
as United fans we both HATE(well i do) or dislike the reds and blues
but who would you want or prefer to win it?
id prefer liverpool just to set chelsea off on the wrong foot and limit their success despite the spending although the shield really doesnt mean that much to a team or season
i await your input and why

I'm with Teso, 5 red cards each and the match has to be suspended with the score at 0-0. Of course the last red cards are awarded at the same time as a result of a fight between Lampard and Gerrard.... handbags at 5 paces. :)

Yeah, if one has to win, I'd rather it be Chelsea. I could never EVER bring myself to wish the slightest bit of success on Liverpool. Every passing day that they survive and don't just collapse as a club is another day lost in the battle against global evil.

Chelsea victories these days are empty anyway; they always have that asterisk next to them.

Couldn't give a flying ******** and even when we've been in it I haven't felt too bothered when we lost and too happy when we won. The shrug option gets my vote. It's just another friendly/pre-season game.
Edit: Ok, that might have been a little too dismissive of the game. When we've been involved I've looked at how sharp certain players look/don't look, been keen to check out how new signings are fitting in, any changes to shape/formation etc. but just can't get enthused about the result itself. A nice occasion at times and perhaps a day out for the fans but other than that the game has never really excited me.

' I sink zat...in zis moment...he..Benitez has a better right hook zan me...but zis is ok because...we did not deserve to lose de chield. So in zis moment i sink it is better zat liverpool win because zey are not good enough for prem or shampions league'
Benitez - 'I bought Xabi Alonso and Mark Gonzalez and he is barely 18!'

Rather have Chealse since L'pool is full of scums :o
But I'd like to see both teams just beat each other up easier way to win the prem :P
