Who?

Juan Angel Seguro is a guy that born in Mexico and moved at the age of 3 to Spain. He then became a soccer player for Osasuna, when Aguirre was their coach he got the chance to play a couple games with the top team, but most of the time he played for Osasuna B, was recently released by Osasuna B and as far as I know he's unemployed.

When he was interviewed by the mexican media about his feeling towards Mexico he said that he felt more Spaniard than Mexican, after that his career took a huge downslide. I don't think he feels all that Spaniard now, cause I heard that he was looking for a team in Mexico.

BTW, Iturriaga on the other hand has Basque heritage, but was born and raised in Mexico and has even stated that he would be happy to play for the Mexican NT.

Athletic 1-0 Everton

0.- Everton: Howard (Wright, min.65); Naysmith (Pistone, min.72), Yobo (Stubbs, min.46), Lescott, Arteta (Kilbane, min.72), Davies, Cahill, Phil Neville, Osman (Carsley, min.46), Johnson (Anichebe, min.65) y Beattie (McFadden, min.46).

1.- Athletic Club: Aranzubia; Iraola, Sarriegi, Ustaritz (Prieto, min.46), Casas (Amorebieta, min.76), Murillo (Javi Martínez, min.46), Orbaiz, Gabilondo, Etxeberria (Beñat, min.60), Aduriz (Llorente, min.65) y Yeste (Iturriaga, min.72).

Gol: 0-1, min.16: Aduriz.

What position does he play?

His position is midfielder.

I haven't seen him, but I read he plays mostly contention, he likes to steal the ball and is pretty strong and likes physical game ( the guy used to play rugby), after stealing the ball he knows what to do with it, he either distributes the ball or goes foward to create some game. In Athletic B he used to take care of corners and free kicks.

How old is Javier Itturiaga?

you don't try out for el tri until you're called up. you don't just show up.

he is unproven at the moment, and just because he's in europe doesn't mean he's better than what we have in mexico.

if he performs well he deserves a shot.
