I don't begrude anyone the desire to win trophies and medals, but I just don't understand anyone being excited about being a hired gun. How much fun can it be knowing you're just gonna walk in to a team full of over-payed superstars that is just there to make rich men more wealthy and egotistical?

Even Tony "Mr. Arsenal" Adams skipped the honorary night at Highbury last year against ManU for the old back four and skipped Bergkamp's testimonial (after he put Bergkamp in this all time first XI)

Yeah I hope this is true. 23 mil for a LB is an insane amount of cash. Just not sure if Arsene will ever spend it. If we make the reyes deal, he will have mucho, mucho funds to work with and a need for depth on the wings, a box to box midfielder, and at least one more defender. More then enough money to do it, I just don't know if enough incentive.

all he does is pay over the odds for big name players, i guess they dont agree with improving talents and just buy the complete players
