I noticed your forum has grown a lot, and that's awesome, I've tried to get people in the colombia forum to talk about stuff outside of soccer, like PCs, Cars, and other stuff in general, like you guys, a chat if you will, but they show no interest......that's why when I want to chat about stuff like this, I come here.

Chifa, does mean chinese restaurant. Might be Peruvian slang started by the chinese immigrants that came to Peru to open up Chifas :D. Till this day in USA, my parents still call it chifa when ordering chinese food :D

it was hillarious, they went to this one restaurant, and the cop said that sometimes the chinos pretend they don't understand spanish y se hacen los locos, this one chino grabbed a huge cucharon and started chasing the guy with the camera....haha I was laughing at the chinos :o

chifa means to eat. Chifa in Peru is one of the best from the world.

Chifa (from the mandarin words "chi fan", meaning 'to eat rice') is the Peruvian term for Chinese food (or for a Chinese restaurant). In the 150 years since its arrival in Peru, the Chinese Peruvian culture has revolutionized Peruvian cuisine, gaining international recognition from those who have had the opportunity to sample it while visiting Peru.
