found this on REFORMA can't put the link since you gotta subscribe but apparently he's in Barcelona C.

Finally I found something:cool:
Everton chase Barca wonderkid (http://www.lep.co.uk/sport/Everton-chase-Barca-wonderkid.3205639.jp)
Everton are trying to lure Barcelona's Mexican wonder kid Efrain (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/6998160.stm)
Toffee lure for Barca kid Valdez (http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/2007/09/17/toffee-lure-for-barca-kid-valdez-89520-19802091/)
1st link has everything wrong... Efrain did not captain the U20 at the WC...has not been at Barcelona since age 13.. and is not the next Cesc Fabregas...3rd Link has everything right but there could be work permit problems... well atleast I found something right? right.

I mean, Mexico can't be "that great" as to have two U-17 champs at Barcelona, so this Efrain kid must be the guy who grew up in Monterrey with a Brazilian dad, right??:rolleyes:
Hopefully, Everton has done their homework better than the newspapers, and actually want Efrain and not Gio. (or are they looking for captain Araujo?)

well actually Mexico ussed to have
Efrain Juares

on the Barcelona side plus you had Giovanni Dos Santos AND
his little brother then there is Rafa Marquez so no Mexico isnt
that great to have 2 U-17 kids in the Barcelona squad they had
4 once but only gio and efrain managed to remain there BUT Efrain was loaned after and so basicly at one point you had 6 Mexicans at Barcelona
they ussed to call it "The Mexican Legion" i remember back in 06
by the way i tell you this as a German im not Mexican so im not like lying

did you actually read your own link?
edit. Just found an Everton forum talking about him. Theyre a bit harsh:

They had a small article on him in Cancha.
Basically if he doesn't sign with Young Boyz of Switzerland, he's going back to Pumas in the winter market.

I thought free agents could sign with a team at any time.
