Numerous amateur teams. I can think of no other top-division teams, or fully professional teams, that do not carry at least one shirt sponsor, at least in Europe. Things may well be different abroad.

MLS teams tend to carry the name of the team in the middle of the shirt as opposed to a corporate sponsor, although teams like Red Bull are an exception.

At the other end of the scale, there are kits like this (1 row down, the two kits on the left):

Bilbao, like Barca, are now able (after a members vote) to have a sponsor, but I didn't know that they hadn't taken advantage of it yet.

How about that Nike swoosh? That's an ad.

It's good to see that site back up. It had been down for some time.

It is a brand name that Nike pays multiple millions per year to have on Barcelona Jerseys.

In fact, Nike probably pays more for their Barcelona contract than they do for any other futebol team.

So Nike hands over the kits to Barcelona out of the kindness of their hearts then? They don't pay them a substantial amount of money per year to do so?

Exactly...any brand name on a shirt is an advertisement. Just because it is small and is the name of the maker of the shirts doesn't mean that it is not an advertisement.

Some teams whore out every square inch of their jersey, some teams only one square inch...but nearly all get money from it.
