As reported on the CAFC website at http://shop.cafc.co.uk/default.ink.
Traore and Faye each signed for three years. We paid £2m for each. Good values, I would say.
Doubtful either will play in Belgium on Friday having just signed. So, this will make the lineup card for West Ham much anticipated.
Dowie says more signings are still being worked on…
Go Addicks!

Farinos, Bolanos and Issakson seem to be the last three possible signings.
City is reported to be after Issakson, and Bolanos has impressed the fans on some of the other boards. I haven't seen any comments on Farinos.
Not sure I like spending 2 million on a 29 year old, would seem better to take a chance with that money on a younger player that could mature and sell for more later. But I haven't seen Faye enough to make a real judgement on that. Has anyone here?
then again.. isn't anything better than a midfielder who accumulated zero yellow cards in a season?

Yes. Haven't we been saying for the past two seasons that we need someone with grit in the midfield.
We finally have some grit and heart up front again. JFH takes up the banner DiCanio held for that year. Now, maybe Faye can provide a bit of bite in the middle. Nothing against the hard-working Kishishev, but he's a bit short of the mark in some of the most needed ways.
And maybe Faye can help us get away from the tandem dmid/holding mid middle. We need a dmid who can stay home and stop plays so the attacking central mid can push up front and make plays.
