--On the bandwagonish side of things, I wanted to pick up a Reading T-shirt. Two Americans, an affinity in the rumor mill for more, the Premiership newcomers have burrowed themselves into a corner of my heart.
But trying to find a good-looking T-shirt of theirs? Next to impossible. Club shop online has many, but only if you want others around to bleed from their eyes. Go to their their shop (http://shop.readingfc.co.uk/Index.pasp?) and look around, but only if you have protective eyewear.
The usual suspects (Kitbag, etc.) have nothing. Even EBay UK has zip. Shame...wanted to do my part to help keep them up by fueling the transfer piggy bank.
--Carlos Tevez? Yes, please. (http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=408431&CPID=103&clid=1&lid=2&title=Tevez+could+be+on+the+move) Marcos Senna? Useful. (http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=408524&CPID=23&clid=449&lid=2&title=Senna+switch+a+step+closer) But if Chelsea want Tevez, I doubt United a) would out-spend them, and b) be able if the talk re: Chelsea and Corinthians is true. One of those "I won't hold my breath" type of scenarios.
--Bruce was in fine form yesterday. (http://www.bigapplesoccer.com/article.php?article_id=6640) On a related note, give some clicks to Big Apple Soccer--Michael Lewis and Dylan Butler do a great job at the site.
--Why do I have the funny feeling LA finishes third or fourth in the West, Landon decides to play, Yallop pushes some right buttons and the Galaxy end in Frisco?
--So if Kenn's the smart one, Loney is the funny one, the guest bloggers are the popular ones, Jose Mourinho is the Special One, what does that make me? The unremarkable one?
