Henry Quinteros is going on tests to Poznan. We were told that he plays for your NT and is on contract with Sporting!
Hopefully, won't show similar problems to Villalta ;)

he is?

damm our team is going to the dumps

well he isnt injured so thats a plus i suppose, then again Villalta played for cienciano just before going to poland and according to him isnt injured, so who knows

he isnt a regular for the national team, since he has never reproduced his club form for Peru, i believe he just got recalled for the up-coming friendly

he has nice skills and is a good passer, he also has a good shot from distance

im actually surprised he hasnt moved anywhere before

Haha, someone lied to you all cuz he hasn't been on the NT in about 5 years. I'd say he has no more than 25 caps.

Good skill, good technique, good outside shot but very slow and apathetic.

he sucks just that sometimes he shoots with his eyes closed(afraid of what's going to happen) and makes goals. ;)

he played a few times under autori

i dont think he is that slow, he is no slower than most peruvian players...not in Zegarra class anyways

he is probably the best peruvian offensive mid playing in peru...course people dont like him cause he plays for Cristal;)

I really like him where they got him playing now, a little further back, closer to Rayner than to the forwards.

He's not explosive enough to be a true offensive mid but his long passes from behind are excellent.

medical or football tests??? well he almost never gets called to the national team and even less playin time on the pitch, i don't like him much, think viza or marino or garcia should have been called instead, he is a bit slow, however every 6 months or so, expect a zidane-style goal:D guess he is lucky:rolleyes: .

these are football tests and then medical! He supposed to be here yesterday but if he eventually came - it was unnoticed! So, we don't know what is he like, nor how he play and move on the pitch?! ; )

tomorrow we'll have an absolute hit-match against Wisla Krakow ...
hopefully we'll win : )
if Quinteros'd show himself - I let you know ; )

I only wish him the best, however I just hope he never gets to wear la blanquirroja again... He belongs to that long lineage of "Pecho frios" who are decent club players and somehow make a disappearing act when they play for the NT.

not really, brother. The overall outcome has been a big failure, but some players have had their moments with la sele (El Chorri, Jayito, the Soto brothers, El chino Pereda for a short while, etc...) El patito Quinteros is more like a modern day Freddy Ravello, in the sense that his NT resume is a big zero. That other guy was a hell of a penalty taker, though.

well Quinteros is back in Peru, apparently they were not offering enough cash

so that probably means no chorri back in cristal at least this season

makes me remember those very bad days of peruvian football, where the best we had was:

--------------Miranda---------------
--cuto----soto-----rebosio----machito-
---------carranza----pereda---------
-------quinteros---------kukin-------
------waldir------------cholito-------

yeah la sele del peru, era la sele de los fracasados:p ;)
