anyone else planing in the sporting news fantasy mls league? any tips?

Yeah, Tim Howard, Ezra Hendrickson Ramiro Corrales, Steve Ralston, and Mark Chung are always good for lots of points. Lalas, Jones, Ekelund are pretty sure bets also. Taylor Twellman and Carlos Ruiz were the top point getter last year but you might want to wait until they drop in price.

I have noticed that a lot of people going for points will use their entire roster on a game which is the only one during the week. So if some of your players are not going to play in a certain week, then trade them for someone who is. After week one, i noticed all the high point getters were people who chose only columbus and LA. i think this say is the most intelligent if you want to win, but not really represenative of how good the managers seasons predictions were....hope this helps.

Edson Buddle is a good pick, too. He's is injured, so you won't get points for a week or two, but he ought to pay dividends when he returns. Unfortunately, if you had picked him up last week, his price was at $150K. Now it's around $200K again.
