Agreed, i am suprised not a lot of people have metioned him, he is as good as Ronaldinho at dribbling and at full speed no-one can catch him
At full speed, Cristiano Ronaldo can match him, and throw in a little style while he's at it!

No C.Ronaldo can't match him and what style you talking about.
C.Ronaldo can dribble if he wants to but usual goes down looking for a free kick

Henry clearly dived twice at the WC (Puyol and penalty). He's also done it in the Premiership. Every player does it, so stop with your pitiful Arsenal bias. Your Rooney comment is also a joke.
if anyone's talking about bias, it shouldn't be you.

Whats pathetic is that you are comparing him with Henry when you say this.

Ronaldino, Henry, C.Ronaldo, Joaquin are some of the best and Kaka is definetly up there.

I would say C. Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Robinho and Henry are the best dribblers around today. Bruno Conti was the best dribbler of all time alongside Maradona.

interesting question..
if maradona would've used his right, would it have made him better?
or hell, anybody who strongly prefers one foot decides to improve their weaker foot.

I would say Ronaldinho is the best dribbler right now. I say based upon his success rate when he takes a player. I think Kaka is another classy dribbler.

At the thought of being accused of bias I didn't want to say his name, but thank you. Bruno Conti was a monster where dribbling was concerned. We overexaggrate sometimes when speaking of players in the past, but definitely not in this case. As technically sound a player as there ever was.

After more than two decades since I saw them, I just purchased the 1982 Italy game sn dvd. Although I remember Conti from watching him live as a teen in Rome, the WC 82 games just reminded me how awesome he was. In fact, I was comparing the 82 Italy & Brazil teams to those of 06 and there wa sno comparison in actual skill. PLayers today are physically on another level (except for Falcao) but the skill level back then, including dribbling, was another thing imo.

WC'82 Final, Man of the Match. Can't get anymore big time than that !
ps - I wonder if it has to do with that particular WC having an abundance of superstars or is it because managers in todays calcio supress skill in favour of a more "results-based" approach ?

There are too many world class dribblers right now.
Ronaldinho, Joe Cole, Kaka, Thierry Henry are just a few.
Rivaldo was the best during his prime.

Drogba?
Drogba?
The guy doesn't even have a first touch let alone dribbling skills!

Henry for my money is the best at this.
Its amusing how many people seem to think this. Its wrong. Henry has good dribbling skills when the ball is at his feet and he's standing still or moving slowly. When he's in full flight he just kicks the ball a few paces in front of him and then sprints after it. Its why he plays from the left wing so often. He cant use that in a central position because the ball would be intercepted or his path blocked.
Henry is VERY good at many things, close control at high speed is not one of them.
