Comments on Week 1:

1) Two of my three teams lost (Wake, K-State). Thank goodness BGSU beat the Golden Gophers in OT. Eat it, Big Ten!

2) Speaking of which...APP STAAAAAATE. We always used to play them when I went to Wake...never believed they'd beat Michigan in the Big House. But I love it. They love their Mountaineers down in Boone.

3) Notre Dame sucks.

4) USC's tribute to their recently departed kicker was sweet.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS BACK.

-Wake Forest is ranked in the preseason Top 25 for the first time in our history
-I hate Kansas
-Notre Dame sucks
-USC-Ohio State will be huge. I'm not a Buckeyes fan, but OSU will win, because they only lose big games in the postseason.
-Wake Forest will try to beat Florida State for the third consecutive year
-I hate Florida State
-Is Georgia really that good?
-I hate Notre Dame
-I would love to see Rich Rodriguez fail

We'll see about Georgia when they come to Tempe on September 20. I'm not a big fan of preseason polls, because they're basically based on last year's results. That said, rating Georgia No. 1 is fair based on the current criteria.

As long as they beat Michigan ever year, I'm happy. Plus second for two years running and a #1 within the last 10 yrs ain't something to be sad about.
