Tottenham fans involved in brawl in Dortmund

BERLIN (Reuters) - German police detained 10 soccer fans after a brawl between Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur supporters in a Dortmund tavern after their teams drew 1-1 in a pre-season match, police said on Sunday.
Police said 80 people were involved in the fight late on Saturday. They said bottles, chairs and even benches were thrown during the brawl, with four people injured. One British man was taken to hospital with head injuries.
Those detained included seven Germans, two British men and one man from the Netherlands. Police said they were only able to end the brawl with heavy reinforcements, from both the Dortmund police and federal police.

Sp*rs supporters have to win at something...lol. They figure, "if we can't win on the pitch, let's beat the opposing supporters."

what do u expect, they have a lot of frustrations, due to being a mediocre club, that needs to be let out somehow. this is just there deluded way of letting it out.

During the world cup there were lots of incidents between the German supporters and English supporters. Probably all started by Spurs supporters. :p

Well, this fellow's head injury must predate the fight because he is a Sp*rs supporter. What other explanation can there be for being a Tottenham fan, other than massive head trauma at an early age.

....people shouldn't believe eveything they read, from a couple of fans who were there in the pub, stated they were sitting with Dortmund fans drinking quietly with them....it was obvious Tottenham were in there as the fans had there flags hanging outside it. Anyways from those guys, they said a bunch of germans came in and started throwing Nazi salutes and kicked off with both the Tottenham and Dortmund fans and the English and Germans retaliated with this group. But the media never picked up on this other unrelated bunch of nazi wankers.....who where supposedly german supporters from Essen.

The English are known as hooligans from their fans actions during world cups... so would Scotland, if they ever qualified. Now shouldnt you be somewhere eating sheeps tesitcals?
