So, in MArch, after my hockey team broke up, a guy ona rival team asked me to play for his team. "We probably won't win a game, but it'll be fun, and it'll be good exercise."

We just completed an undefeated saeason.
Nice work!

If more teams played adult rec-league games with that attitude, they'd probably win more games, too.

OK, I put this together to amuse myself after looking at so much corporate stuff lately. I have been assured it's good, so I post it here for your enjoyment.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the D Request Form:

As noted earier in the week, the Wingman belongs in Addendum G.

Somebody needs to tell Sean Scully that Piet Mondrian already did those paintings in the 1920s.

Rothko kicks ass.

I hope the actualization of the D Request Form doesn't put it in a leather jacket and on water skis.

S'OK.

It's just that the G is for Goose. :D

Makes good sense. I think I've been turning corporate though. I can't count the number of those stupid forms I've seen lately. Surely you can relate, tog.

I can.

That's why I left the corporate world when I got the chance.

Just googled him. They're both so bad that I'm really not qualified to say which one is worse. They both should have their hands cut off, so that they can never paint again.

Here is why Scully is worse: They both only make horrible, horrible color swatches that are nothing more than practicing for painting a wall in your livingroom.

But Rothko at least uses one canvas. So he has the oh so difficult job of coloring inside the lines. Scully takes pieces of boards, paints them with a giant exterior paint brush on the floor so it doesn't matter if he can't manage to color inside the lines cause he's only gonna get paint on a drop cloth, and then puts the pieces together to make a rectangle.

Nah, I like the corporate world. This is just one aspect that gets rather ridiculous.

I like some of Rothko's stuff.

How the hell can you like some of Rothko's stuff?!? It's the same exact painting made a gazillion times over and over again with slightly different colors!

Different combinations work better than others and he's done paintings that are different from what he's particularly famous for.

Bray, who was basically a throw in player in that deal, has quickly become the difference between the Reds being 4 games above and 4 games below .500 ball.

One of about 852,000. The corporate world is ridiculous. Some of the ridiculous is necessary, sadly. But still.

It's all about keeping you ass covered, and doing everything possible to avoid accepting responsilbilty.

But it pays well.

And of course Majewski has, since the day he got here, become the guy that undoes everything every other pitcher has done good for us each day.

And Jerry Narron is 100% to blame.

His decision making is absolutely abysmal.

How the hell do you bring a guy in that has not done a damed thing right to get you out of the seventh, then bring him back to pitch the eighth when you just went out and got a guy that was hired specifically to pitch the eight inning and has done pretty well for this team so far?

Hell, Narron didn't even have anyone up in the bull pen untill after Majewski took the Reds 4-2 lead and turned in into a 6-4 deficit. How do you justify that as a manager?

Ouch. Dioner Navarro homers off Papelbon to tie it. Ouch.
