This is mostly for hang, but I'm sure others can appreciate it, too....
I have heard some pretty heavy duty stories from the Eastern Bloc during the communist era as well as the Middle East involving the type of stuff you mentioned.

So, about moving back to Columbus...

Actually, this week's cover story in The Other Paper was about the smoking ban and how it has possibly produced more outside drinking setups, like a patio.

haha, yeah i know about cbus.

the whole state of delaware is smoke free. so is jersey i think. and nyc. philly isnt though.

patio drinking is cool. gotta love the cafe thing. of course, itd all be a lot nicer if, you know, you were allowed to actually have a beer outside without violating open container laws...

They have stupid law in this county that if you're drinking on the patio of a restaurant or bar, the beer/drink has to be in a glass or a cup, it can't be in a bottle.

I wish Jeff Cunningham would have been an all star. He's one of only two ex-Crew players, off the top of my head, that I miss.

lemme guess... the other is matt kmosko?

it was fun when i was visiting brian in london, we went to this bar around the corner from his place. well, it was crowded there so we went back to his place, got his patio chairs and brought them to the pub and sat on the sidewalk across the street drinking. it was fun.

Yes. The bricks have the detectable warnings cast into them, too, like just stamped concrete. The advantage, in my opinion, is that they're easier to use than coloring and stamping the concrete (the color difference aids those who are visually impaired, yet not blind). Of course, settling can be an issue so you just have to stay on the contractor.

Interesting, but why would bricks be easier than concrete?

Hello all.

Fun last two days. Friday @ Sesame Place was a blast. And Julian liked it alot, too. ;)

Watching the vh1classic broadcast of MTV Day 1...finally. This is so cool and funny. Surprised at the amount of Cliff Richard songs, quite frankly.

So...what's been going on here?

Yeah, a little. But not by more than a couple hundred bucks.

When it happened we thought it wouldn't be more than the deductable and that's why there was no claim. As it turned out, it was more, but, as tim said, we saved a whole bunch in premiums.

That makes sense. And it saves the hassle of dealing with the insurance company.

There was a D Request Form submitted and accepted last night. It had White Russian spilled all over it, but seemed otherwise complete and in order. It also had Schedule EX attached to it.

Honestly, it seems like such a harmless drink...

I hope that more details have been revealed by the time I finish catching up.

I really do need to stop hooking up with this particular ex (no, not THAT one, thank God...).

Whew. I was worried.

Yes, I think so.

We just have to work out babysitting. Maybe my folks in Willingboro can watch him.

At what point in the game does Joe Cannon say that? I might have to rewind.

That's why I don't go into MLS General.

That thread is in the running for the all-time dumbest thread starts.
