I need some new shoes.

I need to pay this stupid debt so I can go shopping.

I went clothes shopping today. Ugh. I've gotta lose some weight. And by "some" I mean "about half a ton."

Today in Cincinnati, there was a 15 year old girl shot in the head by a friend when they were allegedly playing 'a deadly game' in an apartment, three people were killed and five more injured (including an infant) in a head on collision, and a border collie has been stuck in a sewage drain that has no water in it for several hours now.

Anyone want to take a guess which one is the lead story on the 6:00 news?

If the 15 year old was white and blonde then she would have been the lead. If not, then the dog wins easily.

If the border collie was named Ben, it would also be the lead story on Pittsburgh's local news.

Hopefully the border collie, since it's the only one that has the possibility of a positive outcome still.

People do not watch the local news for the positive outcomes.

I'm also willing to be that the border collie is at least twice as smart as the people playing the "deadly game."

Or driving the cars, either.

Of the eight people involved in the wreck, only the baby was strapped in.

(Which, quite frankly, was actually a shock that they even managed that.)

The Revs sold out the LA Coliseum tonight. What a great franchise.

Honestly, there can't be a thing in the world easier that putting on a seat belt when compared with possible returns. I put mine on as part of the sitting-down motion. It's on before I even realize I did it.

It's right up there with using your turn signals for "stupid shit people don't do that would take them almost zero effort."

You can't be bothered to flick a lever with your finger? ******** you. You can stay in your lane. Oh, yeah, I see you checking over your shoulder looking for space. Put your signal on and your on, jackass.

OK. I feel better now.

At least they strapped in the baby.

I think they need to stop any and all campaigns and laws about wearing seatbelts for people over the age of 17.

:D :D

And hey, the league wants Chivas USA to win so they can try and get some of these fans of Papa Chivas to come out. Built-in excuse if the Revs don't win.
