Man Utd, Arsenal: Hah, bitches.

Oh yeah, and Carrick's injured for 3 weeks.

If we hypothetically still were haggling with Man Utd over the price of Carrick and he were hurt for 3 weeks, do you think the deal would have been abandoned?

Great article. I like this guy more and more every time I read his quotes. He seems like he'll settle easily and quickly ... and hopefully score a bunch of goals as well.

berbatov is off to a great start and is saying all the right things. hopefully this will never peak... shame carrick left and is injured, but since he 'didnt want to be here' this makes it a little bit better.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in the league. He really does look the part, that goal against Dortmund was very nicely taken and he holds the ball up well.

If it was a minor injury then probably not, if he broke his leg or something then yes.

He wasn't played in any of the pre-season games for us, some as part of his holiday from the WC and all but some because of him being sold.

Man Utd would just conduct a medical knowing he had a strained ankle and probably push the deal through anyway.

Berbatov is a beast. He tore up the Bundesliga year in year out with Bayer Leverkusen. He'd give me headaches when Bayern had to face Leverkusen. He's actually one of the many players on your club that attracted me to finally officially becoming a fan of the EPL and Tottenham. I like the whole lineup though, they can do damage, if only we could get a solid left winger...

Berbatov has looked a class act in pre-season. I can really see goals galore this season with Defoe on fire also.

Of course a left winger would be great but we'll probably just be a bit more defensive down that side with Lennon getting behind defences on the opposite flank. Davids and Tainio did good jobs for us there last year so i'm sure Jol won't be panicking over the situation. If you have two out-and-out attacking wingers it can leave you vulnerable, especially if you already have an attack-minded central midfielder.

Not father and son, more like the same person.

Never see them in the same place, coincidence? I THINK NOT!!

wikipedia article, Andy Garcia:

Early Life: He was born Andrés Arturo García in Havana, Cuba, into a prosperous family. At birth he had a parasitic twin, which appeared as a tennis ball-sized growth on his shoulder. The twin was successfully removed.

Harry Redknapp's probably tabling a bid for the parasitic twin as we speak
