It's the first news post on the website.
Do you guys think this means a lot less televised Liverpool matches for those of us Yanks who don't get Setanta?

I don't know, but it looks scary. Setanta is only on DirectTV, as far as I know, and my landlord isn't down with me installing a dish on the building. Looks like I'll be seeng less matches this season.

It's not nearly as good, but I'm considering Sirius radio, which has a contract with the EPL. With my son being born in a few weeks, it might be the way to go anyway. Any of you Big Soccer Reds use Sirius?
I guess there's always weekly trips to the pub on Saturday mornings.

My local has Setanta -- so combine two good things -- breakfast and LFC

It works out good for me because I already have Setanta and now there is no more pay per view.
I don't know what FSC is doing. The EPL was all they had left and now they are taking a back seat to Setanta.

You could listen to them. Its very rare that they have live video. I don't think they ever have live video for Premiership matches.

So you have DirecTV with FSC, Setanta and Gol TV?
I think it is time for a switch.

Sirius games are great. Well worth it. Sign up and tell them you are signing up because they have EPL.

Yeah, but to get any of those, you have to get the most expensive package. It's all or nothing.

Any idea what this means in Canada?
My guess is that Sportsnet which simulcasted the FSC games, won't be showing any early games at 7.45 and still show a 10am & 12.30 game on tape delay (EST of course).

Buggers, I went to Dish last year from directv. I have FSC (only just got used to Bretos and Co. clowns.) and Goltv.
I've only just got into my wall to repair the wire they managed to drill through (and not say anything)
Looks like I have to go back....Oh well, I'll wait until they offer their free installation again but I "have" to have a DVR/Tivo thingy or my wife will leave (No, don't go there!)
Does Comcast or any of the cable carriers carry Setana. Although we'll probably be the last people on the island here to get cable and high speed internet anyway

No kidding. I'm going to have to see whether my landlord will allow a dish. If so, I'm switching.
