Just scored on his debut for us today against Colchester. He's a class act, he's tall, good feet and great composure on the ball to put it away. Could be a Arsenal legend in the making me thinks.

Birmingham boss Steve Bruce said:
"You saw a bit of class from the young lad (Bendtner) and we are delighted to have him here.

"I think there were 15 clubs, including Celtic and Rangers, who were interested so I am well pleased."

Bruce said he might appeal against the Cameron Jerome's red card. "I have seen the incident on TV and it looks harsh."

I heard reports about him telling Arsene that he was serious about being in the team this year and before I knew it, he was shipped off to Birmingham.

So the future is Troare, Senderos, ...., Eboue
Then comes Reyes, Ribery?, Cesc, Diaby, Fran Merida
And up front would be Theo, Bredtner, Lupoli

Hmmm, looks like Wenger is into some big time 10yr planning here :)

blue87francis Are you like the only Blue's fan on the board? I went looking for a Birmingham forum and didn't find one.

There has been a friendship over past few seasons between Arsenal and Blues with Upson, Killkenny, Oji, Pennant and now Bendtner, Muamba and Larsson coming to St Andrews, and i've probably seen the greatest performance from an away team coming to St Andrews when you beat us 4-0 in 2003. Pires and Henry, one word. Incredible.

Cheers Arsene.

P.S I hope you smash the Vile on the first day of the season.

Consider it done... as long as Mr.Bendtner keeps starting alongside Larsson. :D

He has just been selected for the danish nats who play against Poland

If he gets his debut he will be the youngest player on the danish nats since Michael Laudrup got his debut on his 18 birthday

very promising

Thanks for the great news. That is another teenager that Wenger has guided into their National Team.

What other club can say that?

Danish coach Morten Olsen said at the press conference that Bendtners debut depended on his show of will and desire in training- I believe it depends on whether or not Morten Olsen has the guts to start with 2 strikers instead of one. If he only starts with one it will be Jon Dahl and Larsen from Schalke will be used as a sub- that would mean very little if any time for Bendtner on the field

Now if denmark starts with 2 strikers it would mean one half minimum of playing time for Bendtner- I dont think any of the foreign clubs want either Larsen or Jon Dahl to play for more than a half

I believe he deserves 45min to show what he is capable off
