I don't know why, but I'm really optomistic about this match. Bayern didn't look on top form against Bremen in the League Cup final, and hopefully we can beat them while they're "down", so to speak. That being said, though, I couldn't complain about a draw.

Like he said, it's doable. And yes, by "us guys."
No one is saying we will win, but this isn't last year when we didn't have anyone who knows how to put the ball in the back of the net until the final day......
You will see. People aren't afraid of Bayern this season and it's going to show in the standings.

We're not as good as Bremen are, but we have a chance. As long as the guys go in there and show Bayern they aren't afraid of them, we have a chance.
That being said, though, I couldn't complain about a draw.
Exactly what the Dortmund leadership would be happy with too. That being said, I think we have the horses to take them.
However, I am not going to sit here and say we will take them because we would have to play a perfect match and I don't know that we can do it with Brzenska out there with Metzelder instead of Woerns being out there. Woerns owned Podolski when we played him before. If Magath figures out a way to get Podolski matched up with Brzenska, we are in trouble.
Isn't it funny how we get scheduled to open in Munich for the first time in 20 years with our top defender suspended?
Even after we just closed the last season there??

If you look at the Tottenham game :
Kehl is 2. Captain (after Wörns who is banned)
Dede is 3. Captain
So Kehl will be starter as Captain I think and when he leaves , Dede Takes over

Dude, the answer to your question is Christian Woerns is the BVB Captain.
"HeyaBVB" is right when he tells you Kehl should be wearing the armband on Friday as he is first alternate.
I guess "HeyaBVB" is so much in love with Dede, he had to find some way to mention that Dede is 2nd alternate! LOL!! :D

Our defense is still just too damned slow. I think Brzenska, who will almost certainly play for Woerns the first two matches, runs like a f#cking 150 year old turtle.

Yup you are 100% right.
Its going to be a good game for sure but I am pretty pissed that I won't be able to see it since I will be @ work :( Anyway, I predict a draw: 2 - 2 with one goal from Frei and Podoski.
