Jonny Evans has been flown out for this game, we were that short on CB's! He will start. Another chance to see the prodigy playing in a game levels above where a 19yr old cb should be. His biggest test to date by far. Looking forward to that.
Hope Jones and Rossi get starts. Line up to follow.

unless Inter thrash Porto, it seems like all United need is a draw from this match

Not many options for this team.
I'm sure Jones will play (assuming the elbow thing is OK). SAF will probably give Miller a game unfortunately. Gibson is not there is he?
I guess Rossi our only striker for this game? Solskjaer won't be able to play again. And Simpson has that hamstring strain.
Possible team?
Foster
Bardsly Brown Evans Evra
Miller Jones Fletcher Richardson
Rossi Martin

Do we have any defensive cover? Also Eagles might start over Miller and is Frazier Campbell not there?

If we play anything like last night, Huntelaar will destroy us. Hopefully it will be something like Crisy Ronaldo where the players beg SAF to buy lol

You may laugh, but if Huntelaar has a miraculous game against us he may well pop up on Fergie's radar. He greatly admires players that hammer us or are really, really tough to play against. It's why we got Saha and why he was routinely after Raul and Del Piero all those years ago, he got Smith for the same reason and Ronaldo and Keane so.... well... anything is possible if Huntelaar has a stellar game.

Then let's hope Huntelaar scores a hattrick.

That wouldnt be fair there both very diffrent strikers.
Torres- More all around, not the best of finishers but sets up chances and a bit more creative.
Huntelaar - Your classic goal scorer, give him the ball he will score, not as good as Torres in creativity or making chances but a better finisher.
I would take any of the two above in a snap if they wanted to join us.

Some of the goals he scores are just classy. In the European Championships (u21) he scored a beatiful chip against the french. His goal against Arsenal in Dennis Bergkamps testimonial was also a class scorer's type of goal.
I wouldnt mind if we got him, but I hope that wont be bad news for Rossi.

You neglect to mention though that he was completely anonymous all game up until that point against France U-21s which basically means the same complaints would apply as with Ruud (in his later years) being in the team.(That is of course assuming that that game was a typical one for him and I'm not certain it was although I suspect so.)

In that case, we should be after Pederson.
