Mancaneers. I think it'll be the Mancaneers. But it depends on who SAF signs next week.

I'll wait until the transfer window closes before actually voting :)
As it stands, right now, on paper - I think Liverpool.
Wha tthey were missing last season, was a decent striker, in fact, if they had a half decent striker, they would have finished second, imho.
Bellamy may be a bell end - but the lad can score goals.

what about the gooners...They have allready signed rosicky,,and he rocks dude,,if we should sigh a.cole from them,,then they will have about an extra 20mill to spend on other players,,the one thing that they should get is a descent partner for titi,,

Les Gooners have made some excellent signings this summer. Rosicky is exactly what they've been lacking - a midfielder who can shoot from distance and create for his teammates. I think they could be a real threat this season, if they can find a common language to speak amongst themselves.

Us. Unless we self-destruct, there is no rivalry.

Oh, they'll be up there, no doubt about that.
However, they were found out last season when teams got stuck into them and Rosicky is new to the league.Reyes and Cole may be off, Bergkamp has retired and they'll be playing in a new stadium - not their old home patch.
Bellamy is a proven tool and goal scorer.
United haven't replaced RVN and CRonaldo may have a hissy and walk when the fans start riding his back - which they surely will.
As I said though, thats the situation, right now, on paper and can/probably will, change before the end of August.

Rosicky isn't a prolific goal scorer at all.

I voted for Liverpool.
They have improved their squad by signing Bellamy and Pennant (a striker and a right-sided midfielder). These were their problems last season. And they didnt have anyone important leaving the team except Hamann (sp?) the defensive midfielder (his role will be taken by Sissoko). And after one whole season, Rafa Benitiz should realize that playing Peter Crouch as their main striker is not going to work.
Manchester Utd
The departure of RVN surely hurts them. But it is true and shown from the end of last season that the striker combination of Rooney and Saha is way more mobile than Rooney and RVN. They will have to hope for an injury-free Saha (which is impossible), otherwise they only have Smith (now injured) and Rossi (Reserve player) to rely on. With the addition of Carrick and one more ball-tackling player (new signing, probably Senna from Villareal?), Scholes will be allowed to roam at front. I would say they have improved their midfield quite a bit (Scholes[orJSPark]-Carrick-Senna-Ronaldo vs JSPark-OShite-Fletcher-Ronaldo). We'll wait and see if they miss RVN's goals or not.
Arsenal
Even though they signed Rosicky, a player that I admire for long, I dont see them challenging the title this year. The departure of Bergamp, Sol Campbell, Pires, (and possibly Reyes and ACole, even if they stay, they are unhappy players) will hurt them. They simply dont have enough depth for their defense. Senderos + Toure will be the starting CB pair, but who will be their backup when they are injured? Cygan? Also, Giberto Silva wont be healthy all season and he doesnt have backup too as Flamini has never settled himself as a DMF (yes he is a decent LB, only defensively).

Liverpool will own this season. Their 2-3 Loss vs 2nd Bundesliga team Kaiserslautern and their 0-5 loss vs FSV Mainz 05(using their A-team) showed that they are superior to all other teams.

He may not be a prolific scorer, but he is always a threat to score from distance. He might only put in five in a season, but those five could come from nothing at all. Teams will have to respect that, which could create more space for the strikers. Just look at his goal against the U.S. for evidence.

I think you'll find his goals agains the US were very anomalous. He's far more like Hleb than Lampard.

First of all its just "the premiership" not "the EPL" and i think that liverpool will be our biggest threat because last season they were quite good and improved on in the later parts of the season like the FA cup semi-final they were good not putting to push praise on them we r the best team in the world but they will be a big threat.
Barcelona wont be that hard this season with our summer signings etc... i recon that even erm .... spurs would beet them well they beet inter so?

Isnt Ronaldo their starting winger? I was just comparing how their midfield is different from last season.
Last season:
JSPark/Giggs-OShite-Fletcher-Ronaldo
This season:
Scholes/JSPark-Carrick-Senna-Ronaldo/Giggs
