You will lay off Madonna.

She has given us so much. She gets an eternal pass.

She has but the way she acts is bordering on ridiculous now. So I say we kill her now before she really gets ridiculous so that her reputation remains intact :D

Are you referring to the controversy in Rome?

She doesn't bother me, all the other female pop artists are even worse.

Maybe once her tits start to sag...

What has she given us? A humourous use for party hats? Apart from that very little. What unfortunatly she has given us is a decade of utter shite she calls music, her stupid "english" accent, her acting or her general presence on this great planet.

I vow to kill whoever kills Madonna.

She's fantastic.

She's a great mother. She tells her kids not to watch anything crude on television, next thing you know, she's half naked, rape dancing in one of her videos.

Why kill her? She's had a lot of good songs, and looks amazing for her age.

I don't own a single album, but I hear "Ray of Light" and I start singing like a teenage girl. Simple fact.

All the accent / kabbalah / nudie book / nonsense can't stop that song from rocking a great rocking.

Edit to add: And she does look great in that video. Few things beats a fit 40 year old in jeans and a t-shirt.

Well, as part of her stage show she does this mock crucifixtion where she is hoisted up in front of a cross with a crown of thorns. She claims its to get her audience to donate to her AIDS charities.....how exactly that correlates I don't know.

Anyways, a bunch of religious leaders in Rome got together against it saying it is blasphemy, disrespectful bla bla bla.

I'm guessing theyre doing this ahead of her tour coming to Italy?

Pretty dumb if you ask me, she's known for doing controversial things....the "Like a Prayer' video and the simulated masturbation on stage in one of her previous live performances come to mind.

No big deal really....it's entertainment!

two, off the top of my head, are a fit 30 year old in jeans and a t-shirt and a fit 20 year old in jeans and a t-shirt.

She's annoying. And I agree, she has made a few good songs, but you have to give credit to whichever songwriter she employed at the time, and not to her. The whole "hiring who ever is considered hot and cool right now" routine is annoying.

The whole "look at me, I'm controversial" bit got old twenty years ago. She can't sing worth a shit, but she's had the good fortune of working with some amazing producers and writers over the years.

Pretending you don't care for Madonna's music does not make you appear more cultured or discerning.

Knowing you don't care for her music, however, gives one great piece of mind.

I don't think it's lame to resist such a media-using attention grabber like her. But if you do, well, I can live with that. :D
