EA finally showed what Fifa 07 has to offer.
Read what the first post on this site has to say.

And look at the trailers here,

It looks like EA may actually beat PES this year. I heard WE 10 is a dissapointment in comparison to WE 9. I bought WE 8 and 9 because these last FIFAs kept dissapointing me. Im actually getting excited to see this new FIFA.

Unfortunately there's no announced release date for FIFA 07 on the Xbox 360.
Only current-gen versions are coming out October 3. Hopefully, a 360 version will be out this year, but EA hasn't given any word.

i see they're still sticking to the horrid generic face types.
but i must say 07 looks pretty sweet. Love the scarface face model
the latest EA game I played (still playing) is UEFA CL 04/05, and on top of all the messed up elements to numerous to name, there was one in particular that confused me which is that if a player gets injured after you have already used all three of your subs, you can't take him off the field. So essentially you have a gimp running around wasting space. Did Fifa 06 correct this?

No, and half the time they don't mention he's injured.

Sweet, at least it'll be on the PS2. The gameplay look really good, now I just hope that they put the create a team option.

It sounds pretty good. If this is executed nearly as well as they say it is, I'll be picking up an Xbox 360 this fall.

and you're completely sure about this? That's music to my ears, me and my ps2 are going to have some good long times together :)
Altogether, this game looks like it's going to be a spectacular rendition of soccer, on par, if not surpassing WE. At least i hope, since it's been difficult for me to get my hands on WE.

They didn't have "time". I guess 12+ months isn't enough to design a few kits and slap them into a game.
Its going to probably be a gigantic failure here in the US, which is sad. Its actually the first 360 game that I will actually choose to buy "current-gen" over the "next-gen" counterpart.
It has, what, 6 leagues in it? No interactive leagues? No create a team? No manager mode? Hooboy, I cant wait to buy a $60 game where the only offline mode is quick match
The current gen looks great though, I'm real glad they fixed manager mode to use real money and allowing you to pick any team from the start without worry about prestige or having enough money to get through the first season.
I would probably buy the 360 version if it was $10 or so, maybe. But not when it has 1/4 the features of the Nintendo DS version.

Girlfriend preordered this for me for my birthday, I can't wait. My thumbs will be bruised to hell between this and Fight Night Round 3 - I'm an addict, there's no way out.
I love PSP.

The create a team part is current gen only as per the off'al. The manager mode part is a valid assumption, considering that there are only - what, 120 teams in the game with no lower division squads anywhere in the world?
Means no valid cup competitions, no Champions League, no real way to change your squad except to buy players from other big teams - which I would assume means that they would have, at most, a season mode with no cup and no champions league.
That and the fact that there's no MLS in the 360 version means I'll get either XBOX or PS2 for sure.
I'm really psyched for the current gen though - create a team is going to be fantastic, especially since you can use them in manager mode. My hometown's getting an MLS team next week :)
Also it has been confirmed that the XBOX version will not be compatible with the 360.
