Im getting one soon, a 2001. My friend is selling me his. What are your thoughts on the car?
I think its simply beaufiul. It has been my dream car for a while now.

The 2001 IS300 is actually one of my favorite cars. It's really nothing spectacular, but I just think that that's what a car should look like.
My mom has a 2006 GS300, and while it's really nice inside, it's just too damned big. She's a realitor, so it's perfect for taking people around and stuff, but I personally like the look of the smaller, sleeker (and earlier modeled) IS300.
Of course, seeing as how I have never actually never driven anything but the GS300, I'm really no help to you here. :D

Are you going to pimp the shit out of that thing? I would. It's unreal how many after market companies are out there for the performance minded.
I've never owned a foreign car, but that's probably going to change in the next 2-3 years.
