England 2006: England probablky would have been the same as injuries and Sven seemed to be their main problems.
South Africa 2006: Since it is not in Europe, Italy might not win. Argentina might have beaten Germany in the quarterfinal and then face Italy in the semifinal.

SA as the host would have taken Germany's place in Group A so this kind of speculation is pure nonsense because the whole group drawing would have been different.
