Game tomorrow (providing today is thursday, I am not too sure if it is, I will go look in a moment :o ). I think Arsenal will field a fairly decent squad as this is our last pre season match before the competitions begin. Obviously Lehmann, Henry, Ljungberg and Senderos won't be there and I don't know if Walcott will play and I would be suprised if Mr Cole got any game time. Got a feeling this will be a draw or maybe a loss for us. We couldn't turn up and open a teams new stadium and ruin the day for them by winning..... could we?

Catfish gonna kill you, sucka!!
Anyway, I would expect Lord Weng to play most of the team he expects to be starting in Croatia next week. I would presume the team for this match will read:
Lehmann
Eboue - Toure - Cygan - Hoyte
Hleb - Gilberto - Rosicky - Fabregas - Reyes
Henry
We should really want to win this one, keep the momentum going into these 'proper' games we're facing soon!

It will be the team he will play in Croati. Hence therefore Lehmann and Henry will play no part in it........
Almunia
Eboue - Toure - Djourou/Cygan - Hoyte
Hleb - Gilberto - Cesc - Reyes/Rosicky
Van Persie - Reyes/Aliadiere

if aliadiere sniffs the first team, it should be a crime.

It is less then 26 hours till the games kicks off and there was no thread for it. Less then 26 hours I tell thee... I think Catifsh's crime of waiting till that late to start a game thread is punishable by the kangaroo court, but hey thats just my opinion.... and anyone else's if they want some pos rep ;)

I'd say it's much more likely to be Adebayor partnering Van Persie up front.

Why? We've got 18 spots and we'll need a forward or two.

We're doing this game for Setanta, so I get to watch my team and get paid for it:) Rough old life!

You don't think that Wenger will play the 4-5-1? I suspect he will, with Adebayor starting alone at forward.

Yes he does. Its called get out there, prove you're worth a million pounds or so, then we'll sell you back to France. He makes decent runs, links well, and if his body holds up he's not too slow. I'm not ready to give up on him.

He is one of the most talented forwards out there if he can stay fit and be kept away from his g'friend. I'd be shocked if he didn't start tomorrow.

I don't understand, you're not giving up on him, you just want him to string together enough good performances so we can sell him? Not the most ringing endorsement of belief. I gave up on him a while back, and i'm really surprised that he's back in the squad at all.

Jeramie can flat out play!! It's staying fit/not getting injured is where his problem lies.

aliadiere's problem before was that he was way to lightweight and used to get knocked around too easily. theres no doubting his other qualities, finishing, speed and technique he has in abundance. i think now he is a bit bulkier and has some strength he could turn out to be a great player.
