Sounds like Frei is doing really well for you guys.
Much like Berbatov is doing really well for Spurs.
Two of the best transfers this summer in my opinion.

I thought it was a decent match. Others didn't think so.

Wait, we wore black and yellow?
As "HeyaBVB" said, we wore our away shirts. Last season's away shirt with that hideous symbol.
The team wore the new shirts at the season opening ceremonies yesterday. There were no whistles or complaints.

It was ok. After all, it was a friendly. I didn't expect anything else. Frei is exactly that what we need - he may be invisible sometimes BUT he is efficient!

I thought it was decent for a friendly. Both teams wanted to win the match. That's more than you get from a lot of friendlies.
One thing that impresses me about both Frei and Valdez is that they both work "smart".
I like Ebi Smolarek, but at times, he's all over the place. Jan Koller was almost perpetually offside.
Frei and Valdez work well within the scheme and both seem to have a better nose for goal than any striker we've had since Marcio Amoroso.
I think a lot will depend on the service they get from Pienaar, Odonkor and Kringe, but I have more confidence that these guys will bury the chances Koller and Smolarek never seemed to be able to bury when the team needed it the most.........

Perhaps some of you have already read about the riot in a
Dortmund pub after the match on Saturday.
The media is saying the fights were between Spurs fans and German or Dortmund "supporters".
"jonam" and I were at the scene of this thing and I want to set some things straight.
1) The a$$holes who started this thing were not "supporters". I don't think they were even fans. They just wanted to start trouble and they did.
2) The a$$holes I am referring to were NOT English. They were German.
3) The English fans only defended themselves. Once the Poliezi got things under control, the English fans were still upset, but there was no more trouble.
We at Limerick's Irish Pub enjoying beer and conversation with an older ethnic Jamiacan Spurs fan named Bob. Bob was a great guy as were all the other Spurs fans we met that day. While we were talking, we heard breaking glass and shouting. These assholes down on the ground were throwing bottles and rocks up on the terrace at us. The Spurs fans fired back glasses, tables, chairs, whatever they could find. And they were justified in doing so. Some of us up on that terrace could have been hurt or killed. I think one Spurs supporter did wind up in the hospital with a head injury.
The Poliezi made us stay in the bar without beer for over an hour while they sorted things out. They only allowed us to leave by taking our names and addresses down.
The police have assured the other member of the BVB list there with "jonam" and I that we will not wind up DFB's "Hooligan List."
I also hope there is no ill will toward Dortmund at White Hart Lane. We even met some of the Spurs fans again later in the night at another bar. They told us they had no bad thoughts of Dortmund and said they were told the a$$holes who started the fight were Schalke fans!
Those guys learn fast! LOL!!! :D
I know I hope we invite Spurs back again next season. It was a great time.
