This isn't the same old story with Gallas. The club is not happy and frankly, I think Gallas is being unprofessional. There are many on this board who lambast Ricky and put Gallas on a pedestal. Well, this new found attitude is going undiscussed and needs to be addressed.
If he maintains this attitude Chelsea should suspend him for the rest of his contract.

Where in Hoboken do you live? I used to live at 5th and Hudson but I recently moved to 49th and Park Ave in Weehawken...around the corner from the hotel that that 18 girl was murdered at last week. That's the stuff you don't get in Hoboken. Plus there's less snooty white people, which I enjoy.

Gangsta Eddie? Eazy E?
P.S. I still don't f'n want you, nor would I ever allow you within a hundred yards of me. Of course, rohypnol cures a lot of wounds, only to open up new/old ones. ... ... ... Time for a shower, methinks. A long, scrubber of a shower.

I think this deserves it's own thread, considering Mourinho's quotes in the papers today.
I wonder what it must be like to be a super rich footballer. I mean, don't you think Gallas is going to look back on this in 5, 10 or 15 years and wonder: "What was I thinking? They were paying me over $100,000 a week and I just didn't show up????"

I doubt it, he'll perhaps think he was very unprofessional in his behaviour but say he had his reasons. He'll say he won the Premiership twice and won the Carling Cup and had five/ six great seasons at Chelsea but it was time to move on. IMO Gallas isn't at Chelsea for the money, I think if he wanted a new contract with x amount of wages he would of instantly got it. I guess he just wants a new challenge and will cause as much distruption as he can to make sure he is allowed to leave. I might be wrong and it could be down to money but from what I've read on the Gallas saga he has always stated his desire to play in Italy, this could be the reason.

I must say something in defense of Gallas:
when Ballack signed with Chelsea back in late May/early June, he was assigned the number 13. Not yesterday, as some in the press have alluded. How would you feel if your number was assigned? There has been NO mention of whether Gallas gave permission or not. So, given what we know, I'd be understandbly p***ed were I Billy....
Maybe he and JM tried to clear the air - hopefully, in private. Maybe they tried to, and no media were present.

all im going to say here mate is prove it....
im not trying to be a d**k or anything but it seems pretty reasonable to me that we have already seen ballack training with 19 yet stateing to a worlds media press conferance that he only recently was given 13 yesterday.
yes their were stories when he first signed about what he was given, but no offical confirmation until yesterday.why would he lie first off,and second it's not wise to believe all the press stories
oh and p.s. will's definately one of my first choice squad members.im not anti gallas by any means.

Well, as JM said he was "going to war". And as we know, in war, truth is the first casualty....
I also saw Ballack wearing 19 in training. And I can see why people may be ticked at Gallas. There's probably some hidden agendas here that involve ego, power, pride- same as our everyday lives.....
I think, lacking an "investigation" any of us won't be able to prove anything. And I think that's probably a fool's errand once this settles down in a week or two....
