I seriously think we need a off topic Subforum, like the spanish one.

For those who watched the movie Goal! ,the sequal is coming soon , this time around Santiago is bought by Real Madrid and he is playing for us :D
- the movie was shot while Florintino was still here , so last season, our players will be appearing in the movie but since most of them cant speak English i think Woody & Beckham will have bigger roles then the others.
Zidane, Beckham and Raul also had a roles in the last movie.

i just like the idea of an NSR Thread...where people could talk about other stuff ala movies, music, world....don't know how others feel about it though.

The first goal movie was OK, I'd see the 2nd just because they did a good job with merging the in game footage with the acting in the first one...so it would probably be pretty good this next one.

As for Goal the movie, I did not like it. Now my plan is to see Clerks 2.:D

I thought goal was pretty good. Like sdotsom said it was pretty sweet how they displayed the game footage. Good sports movie = kicking and screaming classic will Ferrel :)

the thing is that if u watch the documentary how they made the movie and watch the movie after that it totaly sux. they had some ex football player making the scenes etc. They just watched the Newcastle vs Liverpool game and then made the goal scene the same just with actors instead of players that scored.

Dude, no offense but the movie wasnt that good...

The last 15 minutes of the movie were excellant. That was when all the serious action started.

The movie has too much talking in it, which was the most annoying part.

It didn't live up the first one IMO. Depps' charachter was brilliant in the first one but there was only so much you can do with that role. There was also too much of Orlando Bloom in that film (he can't act) and not enough Davy Jones. I look forward to seeing the 3rd one with both villains in it.

So did I. It was meant to be a 'fun' movie and I think it served it's purpose quite well. I don't think they had to make it so obvious at the end... (almost wrote a spoiler...)

most of the movies this summer have been dissapointing. Superman licked balls , x men 3 was bad , omen was shit , pirates was ok , miami vice was shit too , little man was ********ing horrible ,

Superman was decent but dont get me started on X-men 3 , what was the meaning with that film ? the most importent characters die & throught the movie nothing exciting happens , the only part i really liked was when Vinnie jones said to that little girl "i'm the Juggernaut bitch" :D
