Pretty much the same old same old. Kind a gives Wynaldo a rip, though. And is much gentler with DOB.
EDIT: Oh. It's about middle of the article.
EDIT II: And actually, I should not have used the word 'bashing' in the title, because it's really kind to most of them. It does dogpile Celo, though - which I always enjoy...

wynalda deserves a bigger rip
the guy should be fired from his job at espn for giving such ************ analysis. usa going to get through the group no doubt. good going waldo. kasey keller best in the world. usa is going to beat italy.
there was just countless other stupid stuff he said then after everything he said didn't happen he blamed Arena like it was expected that the USA got out of the group. no it wasn't, Wynalda you are just a ********ing idiot
he's still got a job at espn unfortunately and the last game i heard him do was crap
forget O'Brien Wynalda is the one who needs to be fired more

neither o'brien nor wynalda need to be fired. the only one that needs to be the hell out of there is Marcelo Balboa. he's terrible. as for wynalda he's outspoken and opinionated. Pundits are wrong often, but their job isn't to predict the future correctly. it is to present sports in an interesting fashion, and be reasonably accurate. He was presenting the US team to people who are unfamiliar to fans, and being a cheerleader is part of that. Andy gray does it for england and doesn't get people calling for him to get fired because their cheerleading for england wasn't accurate.
Wynalda is andy gray without the accent (and i don't mean on the pitch, i mean behind the mic)
It was reasonable to expect that the US would have beaten italy. we probably could have if arena had played players differently and we hadn't gone down to 9 men. kasey keller is regularly the best keeper in germany week in week out in club play and it is reasonable to offer him the same accolades other countries pundits give their keepers.
