Diaby in October is quite good news, actually. We'd been talking as far down the road as January, and that's if he comes all the way back from a very bad injury, which is still far from certain.

Especially considering he has had problems with ankle injuries in the past....I had suffered from minor ankle injuries in the past few months of this season and it is imo the hardest injury to come back form.:o

I'm not comfortable with going away to Zagreb without Henry...

I'd prefer going to Zagreb with three fully fit attackers in Adeybayor, Van Persie and Aliadiere than a Henry who has had 7 days training......... We will need to have Henry for the home match and it would be suicide to play him so early and then have him injured for three weeks. This game next week will be very tough, we need fit players and to try to get a draw out there.

I'm not comfortable with going away to Zagreb without Henry...Well the guys we'll have should be good for an away goal or two. As long as we keep the clean sheet or even just let one in, we should be ok with the 2nd leg at home with Henry.

Lauren's been out a long time. I wish they had some kind of estimate on the site. Are we looking at weeks or months for him?

I agree with Cannon...even a 1-1 tie would be "gulp" acceptable...wouldn't be HAPPY about it, but I'd rather not push TH too early before the EPL really gets underway.

I had to find this thread pretty badly. I need some updates regarding injuries. (Not like Arsenal is injury-free) and the EPL started .. (Actually helps me in the Fantasy EPL). So kindy keep this thread updated.

those actually appear to be decent in terms of getting the regulars back for most of the regular season, and almost all of the champs league games.

still- it wouldn't hurt for wenger to spend some money for some defense just to ensure the back line is solid until the first-teamers get back.

Senderos close to recovery .. (http://www.eurosport.com/football/premiership/2006-2007/sport_sto968638.shtml)

"My shoulder feels better and I'm seeing the specialist this week," he said in The Express newspaper.

"I expect to get the green light to resume training next week. It has been a test of my mental strength but I will come back stronger than ever.

"Now it's down to me to win my place back in the Arsenal defence."

WTF is this (http://arsenalshorts.co.uk/oct06/20061002.html) ?!

Swiss defender Phil Senderos is having open eye surgery on his eye following an incident where he was partially blinded by a rainbow. The pesky hallucionatory weather phenomena was apparent when some rain mixed with some sunbeams across the London skyline, and being an innocent Swiss, Phil wasn't aware of such a freak of nature.

The red, yellow, pink, green, orange and purple and the other ones properties mean that anyone looking right into its colourful heart could end up with retina damage, and thats whats gorn and happened to Phil. The Arsenal Doctor said: "The fugging rainbow's come across all semi-circ-liar and got Phil right up his peepers, he's been under the knife for close to an hour, and things are going right well and that..." Phil made a full recovery and is back making a recovery for his other injuries now.

Clichy and Senderos are both in the reserve team for the match against West Ham tonight.

http://www.arsenal.com/matchreport.asp?thisNav=fixtures&fxid=304893

Let's hope they both come through unscathed and build some fitness towards a first-team comeback in the next few weeks.
