I have the same geeling.
Also, kudos to Achtung for being proactive in starting this thread. (Maybe he's angling for supermod.)

Well you having a 'geeling' is better than you having a feeling Benni, so i'll go along with you on that one.
Who do you think will be coming in then?

I hope we make another signing sometime soon. I get tired of waiting.

The title make you feel as though you are being cross examined by a 'football physiologist'

Zinni's been on Achtung's ass lately, trying to be pretend mod. I guess Achtung has decided to shape up... ;) :p :p

Fergie hinted at 2 more transfers last night. I would have thought they would be Kuszczak and Senna, but the Kuyt story is interesting. I don't think Kuyt would be a good signing but it's interesting if United are still looking at the striker situation.

Well, much as the threat of wave after wave of Russian transsexuals being unleashed upon me should scare me into doing more, truth is that very few mods can spend the required 22 hours a day here.

A quiet transfer day! The seething press pack have gone home for din-dins. Due to pick up the baton tomorrow some time before breakfast.

Both the Kuszczak and Senna transfers seem to have run out of steam though. Senna has come out and said he'd be happy to stay in Spain and West Brom seem to have help of United's advances for Tomasz!

I still think WBA will back down and the Kuszczak transfer will happen. Buying Zuberbühler puts WBA under some pressure to sell Kuszczak.
I think Senna is just covering himself in case a deal with United does not happen. I don't want United to buy him but it's obvious we need a dedicated DM and the other options are limited. There's no strong indication that United are interested in Mascherano. If we are still thinking of buying a striker like Kuyt then we could not afford Mascherano anyway.

I hope not. He's a good player, no doubt, but I'd rather have some of the other mentioned possibilities, eg Mascherano, Yaya or Senna.

All the names being banded around regarding a holding midfielder why not Own Hargreaves.
I would have sold Ruud to Bayern with Owen coming to OT..
He wants to move to England to a team in the Champions League..
Lets get him..

Any thoughts on Kuyt replacing RUUD? - good, bad move??
This from FOX SOCCER:
Man Utd have expressed an interest in Feyenoord striker Dirk Kuyt.
Following the decision of Fernando Torres, Sir Alex Ferguson's first-choice replacement for Ruud van Nistelrooy, to remain in Spain for at least another season, Man Utd are reported to have 'enquired' as to the Dutchman's availability within the last 48 hours.
Kuyt has also interested Newcastle and, in particular, Liverpool.
Rafa Benitez is still seeking a striker to complete his summer overhaul, but is strapped for cash after spending over £8m on winger Jermaine Pennant. Feyenoord value Kuyt, an undistinguished performer at the World Cup, at a heady £12m.
Quite how much money Sir Alex still has at his disposal is also unclear. Michael Carrick's exorbitant fee of £18.6m may well cause the Man Utd boss to sanction a move for either Patrick Vieira or Villarreal's Marcos Senna, both of whom are available for less than half the price of Kuyt.

Nobody would complain if he signed but he can't pass and Bayern don't want to sell so he'd be very expensive (probably not quite Carrick price though)
EDIT: Hargreaves, that is.
