my opinion in a nutshell.

He doesn't give a damn about United. He wants to make bank one more time before he retires.

Can these types of posts be left to the transfer threads? I'm not trying to be overly harsh here, but its a slippery slope between allowing a few posts of "what do you think of ____? Should we sign him?" and ending up with a half-dozen new threads like that everyday and making the board all but unreadable.

If there's some analysis of a player to be involved, or a substantial, credible rumor, that's different.
