Is Larsson starting? I don't think he was needed with how Saha is doing so far.
Aguirre plays ugly football, but he does get results.
I expect UEFA cup for him, I only see Sevilla possibly suffering in the second half, but overall all four teams ahead have better players than Atleti.
is he starting, well yes he is.
saha went in for him against arsenal, and he started and scored against villa.
you said potential to change a team.
and he's both - starting and the type that can make an impact.
so much so that man u wants to extend hsi loan past march 12 (when the swede league starts)
even if he's not needed, it's a loan. he won't stay. that would fit ateltico.

speaking of larsson, he scored again against watford.
atletico -valencia tomorrow.
atletico must win to get ahead of valencia, and keep up with barca, sevilla and real madrid.
they must play better than how they did the past couple of games.

The team won the last game on sunday and they are 5th but same points as 4th. not bad for aguirre, I didn't think this team would still be on the top five. Next game will be a vital agaisnt sevilla. they can make a statement if the win this one.

Aguirre's been doing with A. Madrid, I don't know why many analysts criticize him so much. Especially when Atletico hadn't been in the top spots in the league in a looong time.
The next games against Sevilla and Real are gonna be crucial, I think those games will dictate if Atletico keeps up with the top teams and actually fights for the CL spots or will settle to fight for UEFA Cup.

they shot themselves once by losing to valencia, and they barely beat bilbao. valencia lost to getafe, so ateletico could've easily been in fifth place.
they have to play better against sevilla. sevilla just tied betis. if they beat madrid and sevilla, they are in a CL spot. if they lose, they'll probabyl remain in a uefa spot, but fall behind the CL spots.

The critisim is because of the squad he has, many top players. They even brought in el Kun Aguero for a hefty 20m transfer fee. Hence, the people expect the club to play good and get results.
Why are we even surprised? In Mexico the fans of the top clubs : Chivas, America, and Cruz Azul, act the same way and many of these clubs have gone on long streaks of not winning anything!

They tied against Real Madrid today in the clasico and yeah they also took away a gol that Athletico made and it should've counted and evry1 agrees to that.

i didn't see the game but i heard the same thing, Atletico had Madrid but miss alot shots. The goal was legit. They need to keep this stlye of playing for the rest of the season! El nino Torres has to step up and help Aguero more on the attack. next they go agaisnt Recreativo.

Otra derrota mas. 0-1
I keep reading Atletico dominates this game, dominates that game, but just cant put it in.
For those that have access to the games, is it the tactic, or the attitude? Or what?

I don't think that it was the tactic, the team was set up like every other game. When they were down they had some few good chances but it just didn't score. I felt that the team thought that eventually they will score, but when they saw that it wasn't that it easy it was to late. Torres at times looks like he is not given 100%. This is a good team but they need a leader. I watch all the televised games, I don't see any player with any leadership. I think that when Maxi cames back( about 5 weeks) then they feel complete.
