I haven't listened to it in its entirety, but so far so good.
Those Spin Doctors songs are classic.

That and Hootie and the Blowfish remind me of this girl I used to date in college. She was the girl you keep breaking up with over and over again. She was like the Death Star.

Don't Cry Out
Rainy Monday
The rest of the songs are a little much for my style. The sounds they play into the songs work sometimes, but creep the hell out of you other times.

The rest of the songs are a little much for my style. The sounds they play into the songs work sometimes, but creep the hell out of you other times.
Those are my favorites too. I also like Le Disko and Waiting.

Waiting is ok but kinda weird to me. Le Disko is a chick song. I liked it the first few times but then I realized it can't be good.

The content is feminine, but the actual music is awesome.
I like a lot of Garbage's songs, some of which are also from a female perspective.

I just saw the Le Disko video on MTV. That angers me now because that means more idiots will start listening to them.

I don't think Shiny Toy Guns are the type of band who will sell out.
And that video is weird.
But I know what you mean, it's kinda disheartening when an indie band makes its MTV debut :(

But I know what you mean, it's kinda disheartening when an indie band makes its MTV debut :(I just saw that video this morning. They kinda of remind me of an electroclash version of Garbage. The song was alright.

They're very much like Garbage, except with one female and one male vocalist (the latter doesn't sing in Le Disko however). And they're a bit more...experimental.
On a different note, has anyone listened to Nas' new album HIP HOP IS DEAD?

I plan on getting the album this weekend. I love the In Da Gada Da Vida guitar hook on the title track. Nas is the real King of NY.

It's very good. Some of the songs are mediocre, but it's definitely a top-tier album.
