this thread is dedicated to how many fellow Mexicans there are in Europe. feel free to add more to the list if any other player goes to a Euro club. here are the players so far off the top of my head:
1 - Ricardo Osorio: VFB Stuttgart
2 - Pavel Pardo: VFB Stuttgart
3 - Rafael Marquez: Barcelona
4 - Giovanni Dos Santos: Barcelona
5 - Omar Bravo: Racing de Santander
6 - Carlos Salcido: PSV Eindhoven
7 - Jared Borgetti: Bolton
8 - Carlos Vela: Celta de Vigo/Arsenal
9 - Francisco Fonseca: Benfica
10 - Aaron Galindo: Hercules
*Guillermo Franco: Villareal
*Nery Castillo: Olympiakos
i did not really include these last 2 onto the list cuz they are not really Mexican

yeah i know, but the point of this thread is to just make a LIST of the Euro League guys. just so we know how many, who, what team, etc.. for news on players, transfer, and such we use the sub-forum.

About the Stuttgart players.
Its not VFB its VfB wich means Verein für Bewegungsspiele, wich literally translates to society of "movement" sports.

Yes that is correct. Let's not forget Jorge Hernandez who is also in Barcelona B with Efrain.

like mexicano said, we have a whole subforum made for this.
the only mexicanos that count for me are the ones that will actually help mexican soccer, the seleccionados.
in that case, the thread should be closed. im pretty sure the first post has all of them.

i think he was playing in europe in Barcelona reserves

He came back to America, but not sure if his going to play for the first team.

Santiago Fernandez has been with Zacatepec, the Primera A franchise of America since this 2006, he saw some action with America specially in the CCC. Then around June was called to the U-21 NT for the Toulon tournament and I guess he's gonna stay with Zacatepec for the comming tournament.
