Well, you'd be surprised. DK is a party gov't sponsored club, so we have ways of ''redirecting" money..
You guys should be playing by the rules like they do in France. Your taking advantage of that by preying on Nancy and I dont like that.

Well, DK is kind of in the same financial position (albeit, on a smaller scale) as Chelsea and Real Madrid in terms of having 'redirected' financial backing. So, it's nothing new or illegal really.
This transfer season the club is really after good (and affordable) performers in the French league. Recently signing of Ismael Bangoura was a big victory, and they're also really after Pascal Feindouno from Saint-Etienne.

That isnt allowed in France. Because you can do it and they cant that makes it easier for you to take their player. I dont like it when things are unfair and not equal. If we had 'redirected' financial backing' over here you wouldnt be successfull in doing what your trying to do. I think you will get this Nancy player because of what I said before.

Well, it's not like the boy _has_ to go if he doesn't want to...see what I mean?

He'll go because you can give him more money. Of course your team should be a bigger club than Nancy because Kiev is a much larger city and regularly plays in Europe and has a larger fanbase. I was just pointing out the inequities of what goes on and how it makes it much easier for you to get the player.

Looks like our recruitment is off to a shining start.
0 players in.
Good stuff.
You guys got 1, Macaluso from River Plate Montevideo.

One recruit ? Gosh ! Incredible ! What happened ? Did they find oil somewhere in Lorraine ? A diamond mine ? A lottery winning ticket ? Usually, ASNL finds it's player among the reserves of Third World lower leagues. They pick some guys at random in the "Moldavia second division yearbook", so they can pretend they have an international reputation.
The worst thing, though, the most uncanny thing, is that the cheap roster fill-in guy, at the first instant his feet touch the Marcel-Picot grass, always show up himself as an top-notch player. It's exactly like the "PSG effect", but in reverse.

You got a good laugh out of me this morning Pierre-Henri.
When we recruit a player from River Plate, there really is no need to specify that it isn't the Argentine River Plate.....
I think Correa just looks for clubs that have names similar to decent clubs to recruit from. Next recruit will be coming from Baca Juniors.

:) can't rep
You also have the Real Madrid (Madrid, Iowa), Panathinaikos (Athens, Ohio), Eintracht Frankfort (Kentucky), Glasgow Rangers (Montana), Chelsea (Michigan) and so on. I'm surprised the ASNL scouts still haven't thought about that.
Of course, the "ASNL scouts" are probably amateurs who read "France Football" in public libraries, so they can't afford the travels anyway.

France Football?
Come on PH, too expensive.
More like playing a pirated version of Championship Manager 2004, looking for the latest and greatest.....

Hmmm, don't want to be the bearer of ill tidings, but Diakhaté appears to be headed to Kiev.

It's a shame, really. Although I'm certain with the youth system ASNL has, another good defender is already on his way.

Thank you for nurturing Diakhate. I'm sure he's going to delight us Kiev fans for the years to come. And he better do well in the CL!

It's okay, I understand geography is not one of your strong points. Ukraine is on the same latitude as France.

Saying he's one of the better center backs in France is stretching it a bit

Nor is it yours. Something called the Atlantic means the average tempeture in Nancy is 27 degrees warmer in December, January and February then Kiev.

Well, having lived in Kiev for 13 years I can tell you first hand that it's not a cold city. Anyway, it's nice to know that you're bitter.
