what counts is where you are at the end of the season, not now. did you ever see the trophy they give to the first half champion? no one has!

i actually hope for you that you don't finish this high; eurovase would be good but CL would be a disaster. you'd end up buying rivaldo, dhorasoo and vairelles (well, not vairelles but you know what i mean)

a frog can become as big as an ox, but it must be done in easy stages.

platoche will be in the stands tonight dixit maxifoot...

Well ASNL will have to open themselves up a bit if they are going to get their goal(s)..... Should be interesting. I wonder how much Schalke are committed to this competition?

imo there are two types of teams that get really into what we used to call C3... those for whom this IS all of europe they've seen or may see in the medium (or long) term, and those who really have a good chance at what is, after all, a nice trophy to win!

Wow! Nancy is up 2-0. Goals by Andre Luiz and Curbelo at the 19th and 25th minute resectfully.... Great start!

3-1 victory and qualification vs Bundesliga current leader.

No budget, no recruitment, and Nancy is winning everything. Sometimes, soccer can be really surprising. Especially if you consider that these people are nothing more than mere lorrains, for God's sake !

LOL.... The beast of the East we are!

I'm as surprised as anyone by this result. Great victory considering how dissapointing the first leg was.

Asamoah broke his leg in a nasty fashion.... Not good. Aside from that, a great night for ASNL!

This victory should silence the people who still think the Bundesliga is superior to Ligue 1.

Anyway, congratulations. And it's great for France's UEFA ratings .... well, let's say you counterbalanced Marseille's outstanding performance  and saved Ligue 1 honor.

I guess we'll just add Lens to our list of scalps. 2-1 at Marcel-Picot after an emotional midweek victory over Schalke..... I'm still having trouble beleiving that this is happening... ASNL moves up to 3rd on the table. Wow.

Obviously, Nancy's gardener sprinkles the pitch with water coming from here :

ASNL wins again and is 3rd in L1. I think relegation is almost impossible from this position.

I imagine something has happened like this before, but it would be a freakish collapse at this stage..... Maybe it's time we start looking to qualify for the Champions League? Am I being unrealistic?

should be a fine match, i just hope nancy keeps to their style and doesn't decide to padlock the game hoping for a point.
