Own goal? The manutd.com website ... [Archive]

Anyone else having trouble viewing any news or content at the clubs official www.manutd.com website? It looks like their site now insists on only displaying if you have Flash 9 plug-in installed. If you try to install this from Mozilla it pokes - just says connecting. With Internet Explorer it claims to download, but then still doesn't display??

If this is the case, then for a club with world-wide appeal to all ages, forcing users to have to download the most up-to-date flash plug-in just to even see the club news is pretty brain dead.

Now working in IE - after installing the new plug-in you have to click refresh 3 times :) I think the problem / requirement for Flash 9 is not the site, but is the AIG banner at the top, but seems to mess up the display of some of the content. Not very professional.

Never had a prob with the site. I use Modzilla
