Chelsea in Santa Monica - Pics and Videos!

Hey, I went to the Adidas Performance Center (an adidas store) in Santa Monica, California today to meet the players. I am Argentine, so I went most of all to meet Crespo. Unfortunantly, he wasn't there. But even if he was there, it wouldn't have made a big difference for me. I showed up at the store about 20 minutes before the event (at 1:40 PM). There were hundreds, if not thousands of people there. They gave out tickets, and only people with tickets were allowed into the store (there still were a lot of people with tickets who weren't able to get in). According to the security guard, all the tickets were handed out at 10:00 AM, and the event didn't start until 2:00 PM :eek:. Anyway, I still waited in a huge line, eager to meet the players.. I never was able to get in.. With hundreds of people still ahead of me in the lines, we were told that no more people would be allowed inside.. I quickly rushed to the back of the store, thinking that the players would leave through the back door. I was right... But by the time I got there, there were already people waiting. I was lucky to get to where I was.. There were many people who came after me.. You could see people all over the place.. A few in front of me, a lot behind me, some on the stairs next to the store, some on the building accross the store.. The area soon became packed and you couldn't move a centimeter.. It became really uncomfortable.. The players finally came out at about 4:45 PM, after I had waited in line for 2 hours, and waited behind the store for another hour.. What made me angry is that most of the players didn't sign autographs, and didn't even wave at the fans or anything.. We were waiting for hours, and got payed back like that? Atleast Drogba and a few others signed autographs..

As you can see in the pictures, there were a lot of people, but that doesn't truly show how many people were there.. My camera can only take pictures of a certain area, and you can't even see like 65% of the other people.. I knew that many would show up, but I never thought this much
