Here is an interesting article from from Friday's Manchester Evening News by Eric Harrision. For those that don't recognize that name, he is the former assistant that nurtured the class of 92.

The story is mostly about Scholes, but he goes to express the opinion that United should have pulled out the stops for someone like Gattuso rather than buy Carrick. Interesting read.

I pretty much agree with him. Any Opinions?

"Having Paul in there would have made a big difference if he had been played in his correct position."

This will be the story of the remaining years of Scholesy's career. If utilised correctly he has a major role to play and at least two more years at the top. If used incorrectly, this could well be his last season.

George, as usual, was spot on with everything in that article. I wish the old man was still at the club, he is a legend and true spotter and nuturer of young talent.
